Paneer Sandwich - Our relocation

We recently moved to Plymouth , MN. This place is right opposite to Irving ,Texas, where we enjoyed plenty of  sun. In Irving, the winter were not so bad. We can tolerate it with a single layer of jacket and with some sports shoes. We used to get snow just twice a year. That too, the snow will not be over 3 inches. But here in Plymouth, life is not easy. It takes around 15 minutes ,for us to get dressed up with the winter clothes. Three layers of clothes, we are wearing ,for a shopping alone. Heater is running continuously at 80 degrees F. But still ,we feel the cold at night. Above all, the killer factor is , cannot see a single human being in the road. Everybody is cozily ,staying at their homes. And , there is deadly silence around the place. Which I hate the most. All over the places, I can see only one thing- its Snow. Mountains of snow are the only extinct in this place. Walmart was right in our neighborhood @ Irving. But here, I have to travel around 20 minutes to shop. Only hope, is waiting for the spring. Want to see some colours around the place. Here is the view of our neighborhood from our patio. You can see the trees burried in the snow.

Here is the sample picture of snow mountain. This was taken near the parking lot of Walmart. These were ploghed, from the roads and kept in the sides of the roads. Will post some pictures, when spring arrives.
Coming to the recipe, this sandwich recipe  was in my draft. Our shipment is on the way. So we don't have much utensils or furnitures.Having minimal things to survive til we get the shipment.   I know I cannot blog, without settling with my things, I prepared some bunch of recipes and saved, while I was in Irving. This is a simpe sandwich, which can be prepared in a jiffy.

 Ingredients:
1.Whole wheat bread slices -    2
2.Butter                                -     1 tbsp.
3.Green chillies                    -     1
4.Paneer                                -     1/4 cup
5.Cilantro                              -      1 tbsp.(chopped)
6.salt                                      -      as needed

For green chutney  :
1.Cilantro                             -      1/4 cup (chopped)
2.Green chillies                    -      1
3.Curd                                   -      1 tbsp.

Method:
* Grind cilantro, with green chillies finely. Add curd to it and mix.Adjust salt .
* Spread butter to the bread slices and keep it ready.

* Crumble the paneer, add shopped green chillies, chopped cilantro and salt. Mix it well.

* Spread a generous amount of green chutney to the bread slices.
* Place the paneer mixture to the bread slice .

* Close it with the other bread slice.

* Grill it on a sandwich maker. The golden brown colour can be obtained , by spreading butter on top of the bread.
Serve with ketchup. We can also add mixed roasted veges to the paneer, with little chilli powder and prepare the sandwich.

Hello Savitha,
I live in Plymouth MN too. I know what you are taking about. It's horrible winter here. We have to have friends so that we can get together often in winter and not feel so lonely.
Btw...paneer sandwich looks yummy. Will try it soon :)
