Black Forest Trifle for 2 nd day blogging marathon

Today is my second day in the blogging marathon.I am going to present a super duper trifle, which I took from "Sharmis Passion"....for the category "From other blogs" .When I saw this trifle at her blog,I was totally impressed and wanted to do the same day.Luckily ,I had some chocolate cake, left over - which was gifted to me on my anniversary.I didnt have biscuits,so went ahead to prepare the triffle without the biscuit pwdr.if u have ,u can crumble the biscuit and layer it.

Its a very easy trifle, unless u have ingredients in hand...I had everything ..so prepared it in a  jiffy.I and Rohith took 2 spoons and started digging in - immediately after the photo session ( OMG, it was big struggle to safe gaurd the trifle, before capturing some clicks). This is a very easy dessert, for get togethers or partys.Give it a try,u will never ever keep ur bowl down.

Ingredients:
1.Chocolate cake                           -              1 piece
2.Vanilla ice cream                       -               1 cup
3.Whipped cream                          -               2 scoops
4.Choco chips                                -               2 tbsp
5.Minced cherries                          -               1 tbsp
6.Milk                                            -               2 tbsp
7.Colored candies                          -               1 tbsp

Method:
* Take few choco chips and melt them in microwave.
* Crumble the cake and keep it aside.chop the cherries and keep it.
* Beat milk, cream and ice cream and keep it.
* Take a glass, layer it with cake crumbs, then cream mixture, chopped cherries ,choco chips and melted chocolate.
* Repeat the same order for three layers and top it with coloured candies  and cherries.
* Decorate the trifle with, some melted chocolate on top.
Enjoy the trifle as a dessert......

Note:
Make sure that ur cake layer is bit thick than other toppings. This will prevent the milk mixture from entering the layers and making it a mess.Milk shud be,used very little, bcoz it may come out of the layers.
The original recipe didnt include ice cream, but I used to enhance the taste.Canned cherries, may discolor, making ur trifle ugly,so wash it thoroughly and squeeze out the juice, before using it.

So gals, wat u r waiting for,use ur creativity and fill the jar.with anything u prefer.
